Cantilever axes with rack and pinion drive can be implemented flexibly as positioning modules in which the drive block is fixed in place while the cantilever moves. The O-shaped, closed aluminium profile with integrated HIWIN double guide makes the cantilever axis particularly torsion-resistant ensuring that the axis is particularly suitable for vertical applications with high loads. High feed forces and speeds can also be achieved.
